Uber announces new rates in Egypt

Uber has noticed customers of a tariff increase, in a proactive move before fuel prices rise further despite no announcement regarding increase gasoline or diesel costs. The cost of the Uber X service has become LE12 for the start of the trip compared to nine LE, the previous price announced by Uber in July. The kilometer price was raised to LE3.10 from three LE, while the waiting minute prices stabilized at 55 piasters.
