Damascus,SANA-The Indian Embassy in Damascus held on Thursday evening a reception on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the Indian Republic Day, at Dama Rose Hotel in Damascus. The Chargé d’Affaires of the Indian Embassy in Damascus, Satender Kumar Yadav, said in a speech that the Indian-Syrian relations are very close and based on strong and brotherly ties between the two peoples. Yadav indicated that India will continue to support Syria in order to find a political solution led by the Syrian people, stressing Syria’s right to preserve its sovereignty and territorial integrity, which must be respected.
