Republican Yemen Demining teams of Masam Project dismantled 1045 landmines laid by the Iran-backed Houthi militia during the third week of January. The cleared mines included 131 anti-tank mines, 15 anti-personnel mines, 869 unexploded ordnance, and 3 explosive devices Masam Project of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) started its mission for clearing mines in Yemen in mid-2018. Since then, the project has cleared a total of 383139 mines across Yemen. Reports indicate that the Iran-aligned Houthi militia has roughly planted two million mines in large swaths of Yemen. Thousands of unsuspecting civilians have been killed, maimed, or wounded as a result of those mines. T
