Egypt prepared to supply Sudan with electricity: envoy ...Sudan

January 4, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – Egypt is fully prepared to supply Sudan with all the electricity needs, its Ambassador to Khartoum, Hani Salah disclosed. The envoy made the remarks while speaking at a farewell occasion for the outgoing Egyptian Consul General in Sudan, Ahmed Adly on Wednesday. A number of dignitaries attended the ceremony which was organized by the Ankara Center for Services in Dosa Hall in Sudan’s capital, Khartoum. Speaking at the occasion, Ambassador Salah said Egypt currently supplies Sudan with 80 megawatts and is working to increase it to 1,000 megawatts.
