U.S “strongly” condemns South Sudan minister over slain journalist ...Sudan

November 3, 2022 (JUBA) – The United States embassy in South Sudan has “strongly” condemned South Sudan’s Information minister, Michael Makuei Lueth’s remarks regarding an American journalist killed in August 2017. Christopher Allen, a U.S citizen, was shot while covering a clash in Kaya, near South Sudan’s border with Uganda after having been embedded with rebel forces. The deceased reportedly had a camera at the time he was shot by government forces.
