The Qatar Financial Centre Regulatory Authority (QFCRA) has participated in the 47th International Organisation of Securities Commission (IOSCO) annual meeting, which took place recently in Marrakech, Morocco under the auspices of the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC). The main themes of this year’s meeting were the development of sustainable finance and risks and regulatory considerations for financial innovation. The QFCRA participated in the meetings of Africa/Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC), which is one of four regional committees constituted by IOSCO to focus on regional issues relating to securities regulation in the African/Middle East region.
