Contracts of 30 non-Kuwaitis terminated with Kuwait’s Ministry of Justice

The Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Justice, Omar al-Sharqawy, announced terminating the services of 30 non-Kuwaiti employees with the ministry, as a first step in a Kuwaitization scheme. In a statement, the ministry stated that the Minister of Justice, Minister of State for Integrity Promotion and Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Jamal al-Jalawi, revealed the government’s plan to Kuwaitize jobs to empower national cadres in the Ministry of Justice, according to al-Qabas newspaper. The statement added that the minister instructed moving forward with the scheme and to quickly terminate contracts of non-Kuwaiti employees to be replaced with Kuwaiti nationals. Egyptian labo
