August 30, 2022 (KHARTOUM) – The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North led by Abdul Aziz al-Hilu (SPLM-N) said on Tuesday that they had captured 9 members of the Sudanese Army’s Reserve Forces (RF) who penetrated deep inside a rebel held area and clashed with its fighters. On August 10, an armed group of the Reserve Forces from the Dernagas locality infiltrated the movement-controlled area of al-Daliba and clashed with the SPLA-N fighters, said the movement’s spokesman, Jabir Komi, in a statement extended to Sudan Tribune. “Nine RF personnel have been captured with their weapons, including a PK machine gun, and nine Kalashnikov,” added Komi.
