Tartous, SANA- On the occasion of Russia’s Navy Day , the command of the Russian forces operating in Syria held an official celebration in Tartous city. The ceremony was attended from the Syrian side by Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Army and Armed Forces, Minister of Defense General Ali Abbas, a number of senior officers of the General Command of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces, the Governor of Tartous and a popular crowd. On the Russian side, leaders and senior officers of the Russian forces operating in Syria and the Russian Ambassador in Damascus and a crowd of the Russian community in Syria attended the event.
