Damascus,SANA-Combating terrorism and maintaining unity between society and the State was the focus of a symposium hosted by the meeting of Arab writers, which was held at the headquarters of the Arab Writers Union in Damascus. Palestinian researcher Rashad Abu Shawar said that Syria is being targeted for its strong defense of Palestine and its steadfast stance. Nasser Rahamneh from Jordan added that the State needs the support of society to succeed because the formation of the superstructure and infrastructure is necessary to consolidate national unity.
