Damascus-SANA-Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, Dr. Fayssal Mikdad discussed on Saturday the deeply rooted relations with his Iranian counterpart Hussein Amir Abdollahian. “We discussed the strong bilateral relations and ways of improving regional situation” Mikdad said during a press conference with Abdollahian, stressing that “in way we will not let western-backed terrorism go on with killing Syrian people”. Mikdad appreciated “the support provided by Iran to Syria in these crucial circumstances”, adding that the Syrian and Iranian stance in supporting the Palestinian people until their legitimate rights are achieved, on top the establishment of their independent state, is firm”. “
