Republican Yemen A car bomb attack on the convoy of a top security official left six people dead and several others wounded on Wednesday in the port city of Aden, military officials said. The car bomb targeted the convoy of Lahj Security Director Major General Saleh Al-Sayed, who survived the attack, in Khormakst district today in the afternoon, leaving six civilians dead and several others wounded, including four of his guards. Shorty after the attack, Al-Sayed appeared on a video vowing to continue going after terrorists. Another circulated video showed dead and injured men and women lying in a minibus as smoke rose from the site. So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack;
