Odisha Government has decided to float global tenders to procure Covid19 vaccines. The decision was taken at the Cabinet meeting presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. The vaccination programme in the state is currently disrupted due to the shortage in supply of vaccines. Earlier, Odisha had already placed order with Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute of India for Covaxin and Covishield vaccines.
