AN NFL team has looked to get rid of an 80-year-old stadium and build a new multi-billion-dollar home.
The decision would see an NFL team move out of its current home.

The Browns have looked to build a new stadium in Brook Park in a decision that would see the team move out of downtown Cleveland.
And that goal has become more of a possibility thanks to Ohio lawmakers planning to provide $600 million in funding for the new state-of-the-art arena.
The state budget is expected to be voted on Wednesday.
The Browns could also receive $400 million from the fund for other cultural projects.
The new stadium would abandon the property where the Browns played at the Cleveland Municipal Stadium from their inception in 1946 until 1995.
The stadium was demolished to make way for the Browns’ current-day stadium, Huntington Bank Field.
The NFL has wanted indoor venues to be the home of each Super Bowl, and Browns owner Jimmy Haslam axed plans for a renovation of Huntington Bank Field and instead wanted to relocate to Brook Park for a domed stadium.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell caught up with Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and other political leaders, along with Haslam, as the group aims to secure the necessary public funds for the relocation.
“All of the conversations have been incredibly positive. Tremendous leadership by the governor and leadership by [the General] Assembly,” Goodell told Cleveland.com’s Rich Exner.
“We think this is a benefit not just to Brook Park.
“This is a benefit to the entire area, including downtown.
“People coming here for events will be staying downtown.
“They will be eating downtown.”
The state budget deadline will be on Monday, June 30.
The Browns will look to hit the ground running as their current lease expires in 2028.
Cleveland is coming off a brutal 3-14 season.
They will begin training camp late next month.
