Mumy took to Instagram this week to share a sweet black-and-white selfie with actress Elizabeth Cheshire, 58, who starred alongside Mumy in the 1975 NBC series Sunshine. As Mumy explained in his caption, while he hadn't seen Cheshire in decades, she approached him while he was "dining out" with his family and they "reconnected after 50 years."

"I remember the series and the movies. I had the soundtrack. How awesome to reconnect," one person wrote, with a second chiming in to say, "I remember that show! I used to watch it. You both look great!"
While Mumy has kept a relatively low profile in recent years, he went on to launch a successful music career after mostly stepping away from Hollywood and published a memoir called "Danger, Will Robinson: The Full Mumy" in 2022. That same year, he opened about about working with Alfred Hitchcock as a child in an interview with Fox News Digital, calling the legendary director "a real jerk."
When Mumy started getting restless and moving around, Hitchcock intervened in a terrifying way.
Mumy went on to say that if Hitchcock "had said to me the next day, ‘Billy, I was just kidding. I was teasing,’ I probably would have forgotten about it. It probably wouldn’t have resonated with me at all. But he scared the s--t out of this 7-year-old who was starring in his show. It was incredibly scary. I just never wanted to see him again. Ever."
