Virat Kohli and Co clinched their first IPL title in 18 years in Ahmedabad on Tuesday and arrived in their home city to great aplomb. Fans have gathered in numbers to greet their heroes, which has resulted in a number of casualties.
3 feared dead, as stampede mars RCB Trophy Celebration
As per The Hindu, a stampede occurred at the gates of the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. Three people are feared dead, while another 10 suffered grave injuries. All have been rushed to the Bowring hospital in Shivajinagar.

Roads in and around the ground were blocked with vehicles. The Bengaluru traffic police had trouble ensuring smooth flow and movement due to the sheer number of fans.
