The Union Colony Civic Center announced its 2025-26 lineup, a season packed with music, comedy, Broadway shows and entertainment for everyone.
Tickets for all shows are on sale or will go on sale this later this month or in July.
Kicking things off is “An Intimate Evening with Celtic Thunder.” The show starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14. Formed in Dublin, Ireland, in 2007, the group blends traditional Irish music with contemporary sounds. Celtic Thunder has sold millions of albums and the group has performed globally. Tickets are on sale.
“Golden Girls: The Laughs Continue” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. Your favorite Miami best friends take the stage as they bail Sophia out after being busted for running a drug ring for retirees. Blanche and Rose have founded CreakN, a thriving sex app for seniors, while Dorothy tries to hold everything together with help from her new and younger sex-crazed lover. The show is for adults 18 years and older. Tickets went on sale this week.
George Lopez, actor and comedian, takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 14. Lopez has broken ground for Latino comics and actors by embracing his ethnicity, confronting racial stereotypes and fighting for his community on and off the stage. His show “The George Lopez Show” was on TV from 2002-07. He has a slew of comedy shows that have been on Netflix and other outlets. Tickets went on sale this week.
Big Bad Voodoo Daddy takes the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 16. Big Bad Voodoo Daddy brings their legendary high-energy show back to Greeley. The band is celebrating more than 30 years on the road this year. The band has played at the Super Bowl, the Macy’s parade and “The Tonight Show.” They’ve played more than 3,000 shows and sold over 2 million albums. Tickets go on sale June 27. Backstage Stars members can purchase them June 25.
“Brad Williams: The Tall Tales Tour” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17. Williams is a comedian who has performed on “The Tonight Show,” Dave Attell’s “Comedy Underground” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” His latest special, “The Degenerates,” is on Netflix. Tickets are on sale.
“Step Afrika!” takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 27. Founded in 1994 as an exchange program with the Soweto Dance Theatre of Johannesburg, South Africa, “Step Afrika!” blends African and African American percussive dance into performances. Filled with rhythm and storytelling, their performances integrate songs, storytelling, humor and audience participation. The group has toured in more than 60 countries. Tickets go on sale July 11. Backstage Stars members can purchase them July 9.
“Dinosaur World Live” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7. Winner of the 2024 Olivier Award for Best Family entertainment, the show allows the audience to discover a prehistoric world of astonishing, life-like dinosaurs such as the Tyrannosaurus rex, triceratops, Giraffatitan, Microraptor and Segnosaurus. A special meet-and-greet after the show offers attendees the chance to make a new dinosaur friend. Tickets go on sale July 11. Backstage Stars members can purchase them July 9.
“Hadestown” takes the stage at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 3. The winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards, including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, “Hadestown” tells two mythic tales of Orpheus and Eurydice as well as King Hades and his wife, Persephone. Tickets go on sale July 11. Backstage Stars members can purchase them July 9.
