The latest sweet treat from the Golden Arches is a cotton candy milkshake that reportedly combines a vanilla milkshake base with cotton candy syrup, and recently replaced the popular apple shake from the menu at Canadian McDonald’s locations.
Food blogger Snackolator shared the news on social media on May 31, writing, “McDonald's just dropped a new Cotton Candy *shake* which is perfect for summer and then I find out it's in Canada and what are you doing to me McDonald's?!”

“McDonald’s actually seems like a decent fast food spot … outside of the U.S.,” said a third.
Some took it up with the food influencer directly, writing, “I can’t even get excited when you post anymore,” referencing the fact that he often posts international menu items. Others agreed, commenting, ““Why did you have to break my heart this way,” and “Can you stop posting these.”
Another teased, “I would do anything for this shake. Except go to Canada.”
