After "Pretty Little Baby," released in 1962, experienced a wild resurgence in the last week or so thanks to TikTok, Sedaka looked back on another special moment with singer Connie Francis, who turned his 1959-written track "Stupid Cupid" into his "first hit record."
The musician then dove right into the track, playing it on the piano as he joyfully sang along, and fans were delighted by the sneak peek at his own performance talents.

"he don't even need a microphone..he sounds crisp as it is," one TikToker wrote, while another agreed, "His voice is still so rich!"
"Ofc that iconic song came from you Neil ?," one fan wasn't surprised, though clearly hadn't known the song's history.
"what a brilliant songwriter??????," somebody else emphasized.
Social media users were also touched by his storytelling, with one writing appreciatively, "Thanks for sharing a piece of musical history with us! You’re a legend Mr. Sedaka???️."
