Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano’s much-anticipated July 11 trilogy will be preceded by a stacked undercard.
Organisers Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) have added some extra British flair to the Madison Square Garden bill with the inclusion of Chantelle Cameron, Savannah Marshall and Ramla Ali.
Taylor and Serrano will complete their trilogy later this yearEsther Lin/MVPWBC interim super lightweight title holder Cameron (20-1) will face Canada’s Jessica Camara (14-4-1) as she looks to further cement her position as the mandatory challenger for the winner of the main event.
Cameron became the first, and to date only, woman to beat Taylor in May 2023 when she laid claim to the undisputed super lightweight crown in a barnburning bout at the 3Arena in Dublin.
Taylor avenged her loss in the rematch six months later, and they could now end up facing each other for a third time if Taylor beats Serrano again.
Her opponent, Camara, recently held Caroline Dubois to a technical draw after an accidental clash of heads.
“To box at Madison Square Garden in New York is a dream come true for me, and the fact that I’m facing a good opponent will bring out the best in me,” said Cameron.
“Friday, July 11 is a huge night of female boxing from MVP and I’m honoured to be part of it.”
Marshall (13-1) squares off against Shadasia Green (15-1) in a WBO and IBF super middleweight unification clash.
The Hartlepool puncher previously held the WBO middleweight title before she had the pink and gold strap snatched away from her by bitter rival Claressa Shields in 2022.
She rebounded a year later to overcome Franchon Crews Dezurn for the undisputed super middleweight crown.
However, she has since been stripped of all but her IBF strap due to inactivity.

But the Hartlepool puncher is now fully focused on boxing again under the MVP banner.
WBO champion Green picked up the vacant title for a second time in November on the Jake Paul vs Mike Tyson undercard and, like Marshall, is a noted power puncher with 11 KOs from 15 wins.
“Defending my IBF and Ring Magazine belt in a unification fight with Shadasia Green, on an all-women’s card such as this, is a great way to start my new journey with MVP,” said Marshall.
“There are so many great women on one show at the iconic Madison Square Garden, and I’m beaming that I can play my part in it. Cannot wait for Friday, July 11th!”
Further down the bill, Ali (9-2) will fight Brazil’s Lila Furtado at super-bantamweight to complete a stacked undercard that already included super featherweight queen Alycia Baumgardner and IBF and WBO super bantamweight champion Ellie Scotney.
