Wong, who led the ruling People’s Action Party to a decisive victory in his first election as premier, appointed new ministers to six out of 15 ministries excluding his office, media reported.

Wong, however, kept key roles unchanged, retaining the finance role for himself and keeping trade minister Gan Kim Yong as deputy premier. He did not appoint a second deputy.
