Niko Bundalo, one of the top players in the class of 2025, committed to Ole Miss on Tuesday, his agents told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony.
Bundalo, out of Prolific Prep in California, was a former Washington pledge who signed with the Huskies in November after visits to Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, and UConn. But in April, he requested, and was granted, a release from his NLI, reopening his recruitment.
That opened the door for Chris Beard and his program to make a move, leading to Bundalo’s commitment on Tuesday. He is the fourth pledge from the class of 2025, joining Atlanta-area small forward Tylis Jordan, Texas shooting guard Patton Pinkins, and French shooting guard Ilias Kamardine. The program also has 5 players coming in from the transfer portal.
According to 247Sports’ composite rankings, Bundalo is the No. 31 player in the country and the No. 6 player at his position. He originally attended Green High School in Ohio before transferring to Western Reserve Academy outside of Cleveland, eventually landing at Prolific Prep in Napa, Ca.
He joins a Rebels program that went 24-12 and advanced to the Sweet 16 in 2024-25, ultimately coming up just short against Michigan State in the South regional semifinals.
