At least three pedestrians were killed Sunday morning in a series of unrelated crashes across Denver, including two hit-and-runs, according to the police department.
Police posted about the first hit-and-run crash involving a driver and a pedestrian near West Colfax Avenue and North Speer Boulevard on social media at 3:49 a.m. Sunday.
Eastbound Colfax was temporarily closed at Speer for the crash cleanup and investigation.
The second hit-and-run crash killed a pedestrian on southbound Interstate 25 near 23rd Avenue, according to a 4:24 a.m. post from the Denver Police Department.

Denver police posted about the third fatal crash, which happened on westbound Interstate 70 near Federal Boulevard, at 7:46 a.m. Sunday.
Westbound I-70 reopened to traffic in the area of the crash at 9:45 a.m., according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
