NOTABLE SPEECH (2.35 Newbury, nap)
He proved himself high-class over a mile last season, winning the 2,000 Guineas and Sussex Stakes either side of a blip at Royal Ascot. He finished the season going close in the Breeders’ Cup Mile and loves fast ground. He’s gone well fresh and can kick off this season with a win.
IDES OF MARCH (1.25 Newbury, nb)
The Aidan O’Brien hopeful was an easy Group 3 winner at The Curragh last year and will take plenty of stopping. He’s fit from a solid comeback run at Navan and the trip suits perfectly.
WALEEFY (1.05 Newmarket, treble)
He looks primed to strike back over his ideal trip after finding 6f too sharp at Goodwood. He was entitled to be a bit rusty on comeback too and should be a lot sharper for in-form William Haggas.
