Wrexham have announced ex-Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher is one of eight players on their released list following their promotion to the Championship.
The Red Dragons have achieved their third successive promotion with a second-place finish behind Birmingham City in League One.
Steven Fletcher is heading for the exit at WrexhamGettyHollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have helped guide the club back to the second tier for the first time since 1982.
But a number of those at the Welsh side this season won’t be there for the next following the news of their released and retained list.
Fletcher was the first name listed among their exits, with the striker confirming his departure on Thursday.
The ex-Premier League forward signed for Wrexham in 2023 and will leave after making 77 appearances, scoring 16 goals.
Fletcher was a key part of both promotions from League One and Two, but will not feature for them in the Championship.
Mark Howard, Josh Adam, Jordan Davies, Harry Dean, Brad Foster and Lewis Hall are also out of contract and have not been offered new deals.
Sam Dalby was offered a fresh contract in January, however the club have confirmed that the striker rejected it and will leave.
A new contract has been proposed to Callum Edwards whilst the club have extended their deal for Aaron James for another season.
With promotions now a regular occurrence for Wrexham, the squad made a return to Las Vegas for their celebrations.
Former goalkeeper Ben Foster previously estimated that around £500,000 was spent on their trip after National League promotion.

“We got there and it was just straight to the shower, get changed, go to Hakkasan for dinner.
“And then we’re going to Hakkasan nightclub straight afterwards. All expenses paid.”
However, manager Phil Parkinson told talkSPORT he wouldn’t join his players in the United States for the ‘Sin City’ adventure.
“No, leave that to the lads,” he said.
“I think it’s nice to have a break, and the staff will do something separate. But yeah, the lads are off on their way next week.”
