BRITS have been warned they could be left with black screens and flickering channels on their TVs over the next few days.
Freeview is received by more than 16million homes across the UK and some may be affected by engineering works this week.

More than 110 areas have been put on notice over potential disruptions.
Some have been told to expect possible “pixelation or flickering” while others are warned their TV screen “may go black”.
Just about every region is on the list this week, including Anglia, Border, Central, Channel, Granada, London, Meridian, Northern Ireland, STV Central, STV North, Tyne Tees, Wales, West Country and Yorkshire.
Though you’ll have to check our full list of transmitter names below to know if your area is impacted.
Crucially, Freeview has urged people not to tempted to re-scan their TV.
“If you are affected by engineering work, please don’t try and retune your TV,” Freeview’s website states.
“Reception will be restored as soon as the engineering work is completed.”
