Scottish actor Alan Cumming will host the ceremony this year.
Although Emma Baehr, executive director of awards and content at Bafta, did sound a note of caution: “We’re delighted that Alan Cumming will be hosting this year’s Bafta Television Awards with P&O Cruises, he will definitely bring a playful sense of mischief and fun to the ceremony, so audiences should expect the unexpected at Britain’s biggest celebration of TV.”
Who are the 2025 Bafta TV Awards nominees?
The nominees for this year’s Bafta TV Awards are listed across 27 categories. There are also two separate awards, the Bafta Fellowship honouring outstanding contribution and the Bafta Special Award celebrating exceptional impact, which both have just one nominee.
