No other team has managed to have three batters with over 500 runs in a single season in the history of the tournament. Captain Shubman Gill, opener Sai Sudharsan and Jos Buttler have amassed over 500 runs in IPL 2025 so far and are ruling the Orange Cap chart.

Gill breached the 500-run mark on Tuesday in the game against MI. The GT skipper was named Player of the Match for his 43-run knock. Meanwhile, Sai Sudharsan had a rare failure in IPL 2025 after he was dismissed for just 5 runs. Regardless of his performance against MI, he is still second on the Orange Cap standings.
Jos Buttler became the third GT batter to touch the 500-run mark in IPL 2025 with his 30-run knock. GT’s top three batters have been the most powerful and consistent in this season.
