Luke Littler has become the first player in Premier League history to win five weekly nights after beating Michael van Gerwen 6-4 in Thursday’s final.
The world champion kicked off the action in Birmingham by facing Stephen Bunting in the quarter-finals on Night 13.
Littler’s latest nightly victory has extended his lead at the top to nine pointsGettyDespite the Bullet’s best efforts, Littler prevailed 6-5 following a last leg decider at the Utilita Arena.
The Nuke produced four 180s during the match to break a record he had previously set last year.
During his debut season in the Premier League, the 18-year-old ended the campaign with 128 maximums en route to claiming the title.
He has now surpassed that figure with up to four nights remaining after his quarter-final victory over Bunting took him to 129 this term.
There are still three more nights of the regular season in Leeds, Aberdeen and Sheffield to come.
They are followed by the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on May 29, where matches will be played over a longer format.
After beating Bunting, Littler then endured another 11-leg thriller against pal Nathan Aspinall in the semi-finals.
He ended the match with another seven 180s to his name.
And he then struck two more in the final against Van Gerwen to extend his record tally to 138 maximums and counting in the 2025 Premier League.
In the final, Littler notched up an incredible three-dart average of 102.50, compared to the Van Gerwen’s 94.31.

Unsurprisingly, no player has won more matches in the Premier League this year than Littler’s 21.
Speaking after his final victory, Littler told Sky Sports: “I’m very happy.
“Obviously, the fifth win, it was going to come at some point, but it’s been a few weeks since I actually won my first game.
“So once I got over the finish line against Steve, I was confident and then I got away with it a bit against Nathan, but then it was a bit of a rollercoaster.
“A cracking game [vs Van Gerwen]. I’ve always thought in my head, the first semi-final of the O2, it’s so crucial because there’s not that big of a turnaround.
Littler boasts the most nightly wins in Premier League historyGetty“To win this tonight, I’m nine points away from Luke [Humphries], so I’m very happy at the minute, and I’m very confident that I’ll stay at the top of the table.
“It’s getting a bit nitty-gritty at four and five with Nathan and Michael [Van Gerwen], so obviously I’ve done Nathan a bit of a favour there by winning this one.
“It’s going to be a good few weeks watching those guys fight for top four whilst I’m cruising at the top.”
As for Van Gerwen, his search for a first Premier League win in 2025 rumbles on.
Though he still occupies the final play-off spot in fourth place – one point ahead of Nathan Aspinall in fifth.
Littler’s appearance in Birmingham came just hours after it was revealed he would not be appearing on the PDC European Tour this weekend.
The teenage has withdrawn from the European Darts Grand Prix in Germany as he sticks to his vow not to play in the country until October.
Littler does not plan to compete in Germany until the European Championship in Dortmund later this year.
