A CUSTOMER was left fuming after a shopping experience at Walmart.

The shopper took to social media to voice their frustration.

A Walmart patron slammed the retailer after their order was unfulfilled.

The shopper claimed that they waited 45 minutes in line before their order eventually went through.

However, the order was canceled quickly after.

The user detailed the ordeal in a post on X.

“Walmart made me wait 45 minutes in a line, then let me order, sent me a confirmation email, then canceled my order 20 seconds later,” the user wrote.

“No thanks.”

Walmart responded to the post, promising to investigate the matter.

“We’d like to look into your order,” the Walmart Help account wrote.

“Can you please DM us with more details?”

The initial complaint was posted in response to a meme posted by the account “Nintendo Wire” (@NinWire).

The meme – a variation on the “three-headed dragon” meme – implied that preordering the Nintendo Switch 2 was easier through Walmart than through competitors Best Buy and GameStop.

Many responses to the post, including the above complaint, disagreed with the post.

“Walmart cancels me every time I complete an order,” one user responded with a crying emoticon.

The reply was posted with a screenshot of four separate canceled orders for the Switch 2.

“Until Walmart starts canceling or delaying orders,” another user wrote.

“GameStop in person worked for me,” said another.

“Walmart failed me. Put me in Q with 22 minutes at midnight. It ticked down to 1 minute to go…. 1 minute didn’t expire til 5 am when it was ‘sorry but we’re out of stock.'”

“Until I see that Walmart cancellation email come in,” wrote another.

“I’m paranoid due to so many success stories on here specifically with them.”

Walmart did not immediately respond to The U.S. Sun’s request for comment.
