A SINGLE regular Cheeto is usually worth pennies, but a rare one shaped like Michael Jordan has fetched a massive amount in an auction.

But special Cheetos can receive bids too, as one shaped like a Pokémon character recently went for $87,840.
While it might seem like a stretch to call a Cheeto a piece of memorabilia, an item combining the corn-cheese puff and MJ’s brand got major interest.
The small replica of the six-time NBA Finals MVP’s logo was put up for auction at Goldin Auctions.
The Air Jordan Jumpman Hot Cheeto’ final price was $8,113 on March 29.
There were 32 bids as the price jumped from a start of $250 to the final $8,113 in two weeks.
The final bidder will receive the so-called Jumpan Cheeto, which is three inches long.
The bite-sized item can’t be bitten, though, as it comes inside a small case to protect it.
Flip the case, and one will see Jordan’s main basketball stats and career highlights from his rookie season.
The Cheeto resembles Jordan leaping in the air with his legs spread apart as he tries to dunk a basketball into a hoop.
Nike has used the 1980s image of Jordan going for a dunk as a logo for its Air Jordan athletic wear.
While the Air Jordan Jumpman Cheeto fetched $8,113, that number is nothing for Jordan himself.
The NBA great reportedly has a net worth of close to $3.5 billion.
Among his lavish purchases is a heavily customized Gulfstream 650ER private jet for $70 million.
