Eddie Hall is ready to offer Mariusz Pudzianowski an instant shot at redemption.

In just his second Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fight, Hall required less than thirty seconds to defeat Pudzianowski at KSW 105 in Poland.

On paper, it was a remarkable upset given Hall only made his MMA debut last year in a two versus one bout against the Neffati brothers.

Meanwhile, five-time World’s Strongest Man winner Pudzianowski had fought 26 times and boasted a professional record of 17-9.

But if there was anyone who looked like they had the upper hand in experience, it was Hall.

The beginning of the end came when Hall rocked Pudzianowski with a punch and immediately pounced on the Pole.

Pudzianowski did his utmost to hold his larger rival off of him, but there was little he could do as Hall unleashed a barrage of ground strikes that prompted the referee to step in.

However, the ending was shrouded in slight controversy as Pudzianowski claimed some of Hall’s strikes were illegal and landed on the back of his head.

As a result, Hall said after the fight he would offer the Pole a chance to exact revenge in a rematch.

The Brit also added he had no interest in taking on harder fights or climbing the KSW rankings.

If anything, fans should expect to see Hall involved in similar novelty fights to his two versus one encounters.

“If a rematch is there, I’ll take it,” Hall said.

“I’ve got no aspirations to be number one in KSW. That’s just not for me.

“I want to come and have fun. I want to fight my heroes.

“I want to fight the freaks of the world.”

As for Pudzianowski, who is nearly 49, he acknowledged he isn’t anywhere near as sharp as he used to.

He also was reluctant to comment on what came next for him in his MMA career.

“I’m not thinking about the future,” Pudzianowski said.

Pudzianowski complained Hall had landed several illegal strikes in their fightCanal +

“I turned 48, almost 49. The sport is for young people.

“What’s next? I don’t know.”

Though he did apologise for an illegal move he made, as he stated: “I do hold my hands up when I say, ‘I’m sorry for hitting you in the back of the head.’

“I don’t condone that, and I wouldn’t want it done to me.”
