DENVER (KDVR) — Shedeur Sanders may have had a longer night than expected. Considered one of the elite prospects at quarterback this year, a season that saw Sanders break a handful of University of Colorado Boulder records had NFL teams flocking to watch him and find their star quarterback of the future.
Sanders was selected in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns with the 144th overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Cleveland Browns have received a quarterback who had an impressive senior season at CU and will likely have little issue adjusting to the pressure of the NFL. He is very confident in interviews, as his ability to get star-struck has probably faded growing up around his dad and his circle of NFL teammates and friends.
