The Arizona Cardinals have traded the No. 152 overall pick in fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft.
In a deal with the Dallas Cowboys, Arizona shipped off its fifth-rounder in exchange for Nos. 174 (fifth round) and 211 (sixth round).
The Cardinals still have their seventh-round pick at No. 225.
The move comes after general manager Monti Ossenfort said he had trade offers for both of the team’s Day 2 picks that resulted in Michigan cornerback Will Johnson and Oregon pass rusher Jordan Burch.
NFL Draft trades nothing new for Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort
Friday’s draft deal marks the latest for Ossenfort since he took over the reins of the franchise in 2023.
He began his draft resume in Arizona behind a first-round trade down with the Houston Texans that netted two first-round picks in return.

Ossenfort then moved back up the draft in a move with the Detroit Lions to nab left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. at No. 6 overall.
The other first-rounder gained in the deal was used last draft on defensive lineman Darius Robinson.
Beyond the first round, Ossenfort has pulled off four other deals across the past two drafts.
They’ve resulted in the additions of pass rusher BJ Ojulari, cornerback Garrett Williams, cornerback Max Melton and tight end Tip Reiman, among others.
“I love it. It’s cool. That’s why we work over a year for that night,” Ossenfort said last week on the chaos behind maneuvering on draft night. “I got a lot of help in there. A lot of guys that have done this a long time and have taken those calls.
“Really, it’s taking in the information and it’s weighing it. … I think we have a sound process of how we go by filtering through that information. It is awesome. It’s a fun night.”
Who did the Cardinals take in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft
Before Ossenfort’s latest draft trade, the franchise selected Ole Miss defensive tackle Walter Nolen III with the No. 16 overall pick.
They turned around and added Johnson (second round) and Burch (third) on Day 2 before bringing aboard Ohio State linebacker Cody Simon (fourth round) on Saturday.
