PFSN: Arizona WR Tetairoa McMillan to Cowboys in NFL Draft ...Middle East

Sport by : (Arizona sports) -

Just hours before the 2025 NFL Draft, we’ve learned Arizona wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan will walk out to his chosen song, “Thank You Lord” by Kealamauloa Alcon, a reggae track that reflects gratitude and blessings.

“Blessed” is exactly how McMillan will feel when his name is called Thursday night.

In its latest three-round mock draft, Pro Football Network projects McMillan to be selected in the first round by the Dallas Cowboys with their No. 12 pick, a potential landing spot that makes a lot of sense.

Why does Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan fit with the Dallas Cowboys?

McMillan is exactly the type of playmaker Dallas needs to line up opposite star receiver CeeDee Lamb.

Perhaps no player has seen their stock fluctuate throughout this draft cycle as much as Tetairoa McMillan. Once considered a top-five pick, many analysts began to question if he’s even a top-five receiver. I, however, still believe in his talent and think McMillan will be the first receiver off the board.

The Dallas Cowboys draft McMillan to fill their need for a playmaker opposite CeeDee Lamb. McMillan, a big-bodied receiver with excellent hands and ball skills, is one of the best receivers in the draft and complements Lamb’s skill set and style. He can be the chain mover and end-zone target that the Cowboys’ offense needs.

The Wildcats receiver was projected to land with the Denver Broncos with the No. 20 pick earlier this month.

Last season, Lamb racked up 1,194 receiving yards on 101 catches with six touchdowns. The Cowboys’ next-best wideout, Jalen Tolbert, totaled just 610 yards and seven scores on 49 receptions.

At 6-foot-4, 219 pounds, McMillan can make the contested catch in short windows and can use his strength and wide frame to high-point 50-50 balls. He can provide a threat for Dak Prescott and a Dallas Cowboys offense that struggled last season finishing 21st in points per game (20.6 points).
