Previously, Lohan had been arrested and charged with a 'Continuous Violence Against the Family' felony charge for allegedly assaulting his wife Kate Major this past February in Texas. According to TMZ, Lohan pled guilty to violating his probation related to the domestic abuse charges.
Lohan and Major's relationship has allegedly been a rocky one, with both sides of the couple hurling various accusations against the other. According to Lohan, the 64-year-old claims that his wife had been "setting him up" to get arrested, saying, "Kate has been threatening to get me violated on probation for a long time. She used these false charges here in Texas to do so."
Following this, the police arrested Lohan and charged him with the felony assault, holding him on a $30,000 bond.
While multiple publications have reached out to Lindsay Lohan for comment, the 38-year-old actress behind such films as Mean Girls, The Parent Trap, and Freaky Friday has yet to provide an official statement.
