A STAR of one of pop princess Britney Spears’ most memorable music videos has revealed his very normal life after his brush with fame.
The man in question played a key role in the scenes accompanying the American songstress’ Oops I Did It Again chart hit, released back in 2000.

A segment then interrupts the lyrics and that’s where model Eli Swanson’s role came in.
Donning a former NASA space suit, the astronaut announces: “All aboard. Britney, before you go, there’s something I want you to have.”
She replies: “Oh, it’s beautiful, but wait a minute, isn’t this?” before he says: “Yeah, yes it is.”
Britney, dressed in her iconic red skintight catsuit, replied: “But I thought the old lady dropped it into the ocean in the end.”
He chivalrously replies: “Well baby, I went down and got it for you,” before Britney gushes: “Aww, you shouldn’t have.”
Talking of his plum role in the NASA suit, Eli, who is now 47, told People: “That was actually real.
“Pretty cool to wear.”
Talking of the music video filming with the Lucky singer, he added: “When I met her [Britney] for the first time, she was very sweet.
“She had her little dog and her mom with her.
“It was cool to meet her.”
Eli, who was juggling modelling work with a job as a barman at the tome of casting, added: “She was very, very nice … very humble.”
Yet since his chart fame, the star had made a huge career u-turn.
Now Eli has trained to be a doctor, working specifically as a orthopedic trauma surgeon in Arizona.
He deferred his spot at Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons while his career as Britney’s sexy astronaut took hold, yet now insists being a doctor is his “calling.”
Yet this doesn’t stop his colleagues playing the track, which was Britney’s third number one hit in the UK, when he enters the room.
The tune was featured on Britney’s second studio album of the same name, which will be re-released to mark its 25th anniversary in May.
