GREEN Bay Packers star quarterback Jordan Love sent an honest message to Aaron Rodgers over his NFL future.
The 26-year-old Love was once a backup of Aaron Rodgers, who’s currently linked with just one NFL team in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The 41-year-old, however, shared that he’s dealing with personal issues and is mulling retirement.
The former first-round pick Love, who was a backup to Rodgers from 2020-23, appeared on FanDuel TV’s Up & Adams and thinks that the future Hall of Famer has “got some more years in the tank.”
Love told host Kay Adams that he would still love to play against his former teammate.
“That was my mentor coming to the league, so I’d hate to see him go out,” Love said.
“But he’s had a phenomenal, phenomenal career – definitely a Hall of Famer.
“We’ll see. I don’t think he’s ready to end it, though.”
Love will be entering his third season as a full-time starter for the Packers after Rodgers left the team in 2023.
He would play against Rodgers if the 20-year NFL veteran signed with the Steelers.
The Packers are set to face the Steelers in the 2025 NFL season.
But Rodgers said that he plans to take his time and think over his decision, and that he hasn’t been given a deadline by the Steelers or any other team.
The 41-year-old also insisted that he wasn’t “holding teams hostage” as he continues the process of making a decision.
Rodgers is currently an NFL free agent for the first time after spending two seasons with the New York Jets.
He was cut by the Jets in February after leading the team to a disappointing 5-12 record.
Rodgers posted a completion rate of 63 percent with 3,897 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions.
The Steelers are a fit for Rodgers as their quarterback room consists of just Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson.
However, the team could opt to select a quarterback in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft, which will take place on April 24.
The Steelers control the No. 21 overall pick and have met with quarterback prospects Shedeur Sanders, Jaxson Dart, Jalen Milroe, and Tyler Shough, among others.
Pittsburgh is coming off a 10-7 season that saw them lose in the Wild Card round to the Baltimore Ravens.
