DENVER (KDVR) — A driver suspected of being under the influence reportedly drove into a lake on Friday.
A FOX31 viewer sent photos of crews attempting to pull a car out of a lake in Greeley. The viewer said it happened around 11:45 a.m. near 20th Street and 28th Avenue behind the Westlake Village Shopping Center. Per Google Maps, the lake is the Greeley Lake West Reservoir.
The Greeley Police Department confirmed the crash to FOX31 and said a driver who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs or alcohol lost control of the car and crashed into the lake.

The driver was subsequently arrested; however, police did not specify what the charges were.
Snow and rain moved across Colorado on Friday and caused slick conditions on some roadways. The viewer told FOX31 that the roads were wet and not snowpacked at the time of the crash.
