Punjab Kings (PBKS) won the IPL 2025 match against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 5 wickets with 11 balls remaining at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
PBKS won the toss and chose to bowl first in the match. They did a fantastic job in the innings and reduced RCB to 63/9 before Tim David played an explosive innings and helped RCB end up with a total of 95/9.
Chasing the target, Punjab Kings faced a few hiccups and lost five wickets, but Nehal Wadhera played a great cameo of 33 runs to steer his team past the finish line in 12.1 overs.

Opting to bowl first in the match, the PBKS bowling unit had a nightmarish outing as they were taken to the cleaners by an aggressive RCB lineup. Virat Kohli led the assault with a sensational 92 off 47 balls, while Rajat Patidar and Cameron Green played equally destructive hands as RCB posted a colossal score of 241/7 on the board.
Chasing a huge target, PBKS started with intent but failed to maintain momentum. Rilee Rossouw's 61 off 27 balls gave PBKS a slight hope, and Shashank Singh kept them in the hunt briefly with a 19-ball 37. However, wickets kept falling at regular intervals, and they were ultimately bowled out for 181 in 17 overs.
