And even though his mom couldn't be there in person, she did send in a little something to show the crowd that was a bit embarrassing for Gosling as he embarks on his adventure becoming part of the Star Wars universe forever — something that we now know he's waited a very long time for.

The Good Morning America TikTok account captured Gosling's moment on stage during the Star Wars Celebration live stream on Thursday. Up on the screens, they showed a photo courtesy of Gosling's mom, and even though he might have been blushing a bit, the crowd did go wild for it.

While the photo was on the screen, Gosling talked about what Star Wars has meant to him as a fan and an actor.

“As you can see from the picture, I guess I was probably dreaming about Star Wars before I even saw the film," he said. "And it’s probably framed my idea of what a movie even was."

Fans will get to see Gosling in action in Star Wars: Starfighter when the movie hits theaters on May 28, 2027.
