MEGHAN Markle has hit the ground running in 2025, launching a new podcast, a Netflix TV show and her lifestyle brand As Ever.

However, royal experts have claimed that the Duchess of Sussex, 43, is struggling to find her target audience.

GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker pointed out on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show that reviews of Meghan’s podcast – Confessions of a Female Founder – and her With Love, Meghan cooking show have been “pretty scathing.”

He said: “What is the USP here?

“Does it actually have a point to this or is it just because she is Meghan, Duchess of Sussex?

“Although it was number 10 on Spotify, this podcast, her Netflix series was also in the top 10.

“So although the reviews are bad, people are still watching it.

“So the question is going to be, are people watching it because they love to hate it or do they genuinely enjoy watching it or listening?”

Meanwhile, Royal Correspondent Sarah Hewson said: “I suppose the worst thing could be it being greeted with silence and just completely ignored.

“So from that perspective, you know, it is doing something.”

Meghan has so far released two podcast episodes in her new series with female-founded Lemonada Media – after her previous Archetypes podcast on Spotify.

The podcast will feature eight episodes and focus on Meghan’s journey as an entrepreneur.

Her guest stars have so far included Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd and American lawyer and politician Reshma Saujani.

The Sun’s Royal Editor Matt Wilkinson pointed out about the podcast: “It’s very US focused.

“I think all her guests are mainly based in America so far.

“But I think the American media have mainly ignored it.

“I’m led to believe that it’s not really being picked up by the American media, which surely would be her target if she was moving into that sphere.”

Cameron questioned: “Does that suggest then that the British audience, you know, are very much loving to hate Meghan and perhaps by extension Harry, and the US just don’t care anymore?”

Sarah added: “if America isn’t buying into this brand, then they’ve got a problem.”

Prince Harry and Meghan announced they were stepping back from official public duties on January 8, 2020 and they now live in a £12million Montecito mansion.

Last episode, Meghan bravely opened up about her miscarriage and said she “learned to detach”.

Speaking to Reshma, she said: “I’ll bring this up if you are comfortable talking about it.

“I know you’ve spoken publicly about as you were doing Girl’s Who Code, all the personal things that were happening for you at that time.

“And the miscarriages that you’ve experienced. I’ve spoken about the miscarriage that we experienced.

“And I think in some parallel way when you have to learn to detach from the thing that you have so much promise and hope for.

“And to be able to be okay at a certain point to let something go that you plan to love for a long time.”

In 2020, Meghan wrote a piece for the New York Times detailing her tragic miscarriage.

She said she lost her baby in July 2020, a year after son Archie was born.

In her first episode of her new podcast, Meghan spoke about the challenges of running her new As Ever brand, which sold out in under one hour, while raising a family with Prince Harry, 40.

Meghan’s podcast follows her eight-part Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which saw her making meals and crafting with Hollywood pals.
