Blair, 43, of Conroe, Texas, was dependent on the help of his wife in Season 9, Episode 9 of My 600-Lb Life. Although viewers hoped to see him change his eating habits and lifestyle choices, his journey was not an easy one.
Blair sought help from bariatric surgeon Dr. Younan Nowzaradan (known as Dr. Now) in Houston, Texas, but did he change his ways and qualify for weight-loss surgery?
During his first weigh-in with Dr. Now, Blair tipped the scale at 609 pounds.
At his follow-up, Blair weighed 548 pounds, missing his goal by a decent margin. Dr. Now set a goal losing 90 more pounds; Blair weighed 512 pounds when he returned.
Unfortunately for viewers, Blair's episode ended with viewers not knowing how his story ended.

One year and two months into his journey, he weighed 447 pounds—and Dr. Now officially approved him for weight-loss surgery.
"Finally, my body isn't something I'm trapped in, and I'm excited about that," Blair said.
