This made her the only woman in the field to dip under the 26-second barrier. After fighting a few illnesses and now dealing with a sprained ankle, the 25-year-old has decided to race through May and then focus on getting a good training block in through October. This will mean she will forego trying to qualify for the 2025 World Championships, instead shifting her focus to the 2026 Commonwealth Games.
