Australian Rules football match between Collingwood and Carlton at the Melbourne Cricket Ground saw over 82,000 people attending the game. However, among them, one 21-year-old man and a 27-year-old man smuggled guns into the stadium and were also refusing to leave the iconic MCG Ground.

Melbourne Cricket Ground CEO Stuart Fox addressed the situation, saying that they will be increasing the extensiveness of the secondary manual security process. While calling the incident disappointing, he said that they would be working with Victoria Police, the AFL, and our security provider going ahead.

"We will continue to work closely with Victoria Police, the AFL and our security provider in executing the MCG's security procedures."
