Bella Ramsay Unveils Clinical Diagnosis After ‘The Last of Us’ Crew Member Pointed Out Signs ...Saudi Arabia

In a March 19 article from British Vogue, the 21-year-old nonbinary actress opened up about receiving an autism diagnosis while filming the HBO series.

“I’ve spoken a bit about neurodivergence before, but I always for some reason didn’t want to say what it was,” Ramsey told the publication. “I got diagnosed with autism when I was filming Season 1 of The Last of Us.”

Upon confirming their autism diagnosis, Ramsey said the knowledge was "freeing."

Ramsey added, “I’ve always been watching and learning from people,” they continued. “Having to learn more manually how to socialise and interact with the people around me has helped me with acting.”

“I’m very much just a person,” she told the publication. “Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less.”
