Survivor fans get ready, the next round of voting for season 50 is coming.
“A little reminder a vote is happening for season 50,” the official Survivor Instagram page wrote via their Story on Wednesday, March 19. “Get ready.”
Ahead of the next vote, which goes live during the Survivor 48 episode on Wednesday, Entertainment Weekly revealed what the next topics would be — one of which will include season 50’s final four immunity challenge, which will allow fans to choose between three options.
Survivor is also giving fans the deciding vote on how much power an advantage will have in the milestone season, per the outlet. They’ll be able to choose Minimal Power, Strategic Power or Dynamic Power. A description of what each option entails will be provided.
‘Survivor 50’: What We Know and What We’re Hoping For
In honor of Wednesday’s episode, which teased a tribe swap for the remaining Survivor players, fans will choose if they want to mix things up for the contestants before the merge or keep the game flowing along.
“I want the tribes to switch. I want to force new alliances and test old ones — challenging players to prove they can survive in any scenario,” the first option read with the second reading, “I do not want the tribes to switch. I want alliances to grow naturally, without disruption — strong bonds should be built and rewarded, not broken.”
Robert Voets/CBSHost Jeff Probst will announce during the episode when voting is open on the show’s official voting website.
Voting for Survivor 50 kicked off during the season 48 premiere. Fans have already given their input on the tribes’ color options, whether or not the players should get rice, the fate of the infamous final four fire-making challenge and if the finale’s after-show should stay in Fiji or return to Los Angeles.
The outcome of the vote won’t be revealed to the public until Survivor 50 airs, which won’t be until next year.
Last month, Probst announced that Survivor 50 would be in the hands of the competition series’ fans.
“I wanted it to be a thank you to the fans because that’s the whole reason we’ve been on so long is their loyalty of sticking with us,” he told Entertainment Weekly in February 2025. “Even if they don’t love every idea, they don’t quit on us. The fans will have a chance to either in one way go back to our roots, but in another way move us into the future. And I’m really curious where that is going to go because we’re going to give you some choices to make”
Survivor airs on Wednesdays on CBS at 8 p.m. ET and is available to stream on Paramount+ the next day.
