The 21-year-old from Temple, GA, who has worked at the post office for three years, didn’t have the chutzpah to sign himself up to audition. So his mom Tasha did it for him without him knowing, but now he’s taking a big swing for his shot at a Golden Ticket to Hollywood, and he claims he was inspired by Luke Bryan’s documentary.
“I have held myself back a lot because I didn’t think I could do a lot,” Brajawn says. "Luke, I have to say thank you. I woke up one day to your documentary. And your dad [Tommy Bryan] was telling you to go out and live your dreams and if something didn’t work out, you could come back home to the peanut factory. I woke up, and I was crying. I woke up and said to God, 'I’m trying. But maybe I’m not trying hard enough.’”
