Shreyas Iyer yet again proved why he is rated as the best No.4 batter for India in the ODIs. The right-hander yet again thrived under pressure and kept his team in the hunt in the final. He came out to bat when India lost Shubman Gill and Virat Kohli in quick succession of time before Rohit Sharma perished too.
Shreyas Iyer, along with Axar Patel, put pressure back on New Zealand and was looking all set for a brilliant half-century. But his stay at the crease was cut short by the brilliance of Rachin Ravindra in the field as the Kiwi all-rounder took a magnificent catch to send the batter packing.
Rachin Ravindra ran across to his left and dived forward to take a good low catch with two hands. With his catch, the fans at the stadium went silent with New Zealand making a comeback in the game again.
