Meester is most well-known for her role as Blair Waldorf on Gossip Girl, the best friend of main character Serena (Blake Lively). Bell appeared uncredited in every episode of the six-season teen drama on The CW. She provided the voice of the titular "Gossip Girl," an anonymous blogger who posted about the social lives and issues of Blair and other students on Manhattan's East Side.

And this brief reunion is a mere transition point for what comes next for the two. This week, it was announced that Meester would guest-star on Nobody Wants This. In the hit Netflix comedy series, Bell appears as one half of the lead couple, dating rabbi Noah. Noah is played by Adam Brody, the real-life husband of Meester.

Perhaps it was that very text chain that had the two decide to don matching dresses on the red carpet prior to their Gossip Girl reunion!
